This week students share an A-Z poem, using the moveable alphabet at home and more!

Our seedlings survived the transplant into larger pots and we are excited for Spring and warmer weather.

An A-Z Poem By Jack

Apples are growing while
Bees are buzzing
Clouds are flying same with
Dust but it’s from the

Earth and
Filling everything
Growing smells are in the breeze
H2o falling from the sky while
Ice is melting
just hurry up spring it’s still cold
Keep growing keep blooming
Lush forests are waking up
Mud covers everything while
New life is sprouting
Open the house
Plant the garden
Quack, Quack, Quack
Rain showers are falling
spring is here it is
the end of winter
unpredictable weather is here
Vibrant colors are flooding the earth
Woods are awake
X-ray fish come awake
Yards are in tip-top shape and
Zebras are running run.

A child using the Moveable Alphabet to compose words!

We’ve been practicing a lot of nouns and adjectives and made it to the sentence writing portion.

During this season of remote learning, Fort Collins Montessori School is showcasing and sharing its students’ home-based work, play, and discovery here on our blog! To be featured, email the content you wish to share to your child’s guide. If submitting a photo or video of your child, please ensure you have an FCMS Media Release on file with the school office.
