Introducing New FCMS Head of School: Paul Vincent

Families and Friends,

My name is Paul Vincent, I am excited and honored to be the next Head of School here at Fort Collins Montessori School! I feel privileged to work with the dedicated, competent staff and supportive families at FCMS.

I am a lifelong Montessorian. I attended Montessori schools from toddler through upper elementary. In fact, my wife and I met while we were in preschool at Faxon Montessori. I currently hold an AMI elementary diploma as well as a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri and a Master’s of Arts in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies from UC, Denver.

I have eight years teaching experience in Lower and Upper Elementary Montessori programs in the Denver Public School system. I have two years experience as an Administrative Assistant in DPS schools as well.

My wife and I have a son, Matthew and a daughter, Alaya who are both attending Windsor Middle School. We recently purchased our first home in Windsor and truly love the Fort Collins area. Our family enjoys exploring the wonders of nature here in Colorado and traveling throughout the country when we can.

I look forward to supporting the vision and mission of Fort Collins Montessori School. My experience in Montessori has encouraged me to become a lifelong learner while enjoying the process. I will strive for the same for your children. Montessori, when practiced authentically is much more than an educational philosophy; it is a way of living.
