All FCMS Parents are invited to participate in the first-ever open nomination and election of Parent Volunteer Committee leadership!
Nominations are being accepted through this Friday, October 7th, for candidates to fill positions on the Parent Volunteer Committee (PVC). Current committee members will assist with the transition to new leadership. The PVC’s primary functions are to coordinate parent volunteers; to raise funds for, plan, and carry out staff appreciations and community-building activities; and to support the school’s strategic initiatives. You are welcome to nominate yourself or any other parent you’d like to see on the PVC. The committee will obtain the permission of each candidate before putting them on the ballot.
Electronic voting will open October 17th / close October 24th to fill seats for the following officers: Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Fundraising Coordinator. (The PVC Fundraising Coordinator is NOT in charge of fundraising for the entire school. The PVC only raises funds for committee needs and other smaller goals as agreed.) The time commitment can range from 0-2 hours a week to 8-10 (but generally less) depending on position, goals set forth, and project deadlines, which are all determined by the current members.

2) the position you are nominating them for and why (briefly)
3) your name
4) whether this person knows they are being nominated.
