While not a native Coloradoan, Stacey has lived and raised her family in Colorado for over 30 years. She is licensed to teach Early Childhood, Elementary and Special Education. Stacey was a classroom teacher for 30 years before deciding she was ready for a change. However, she was unwilling to give up her time with children so she began working as a special education teacher/interventionist for Fort Collins Montessori. She is enjoying being a part of the Montessori experience! She loves working with small groups of children and helping them grow in areas that are difficult for them.

Outside of school, Stacey most enjoys spending time with her 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Her favorite vacation spot is Utah where her two oldest and grandchildren live or New Mexico where her parents live. She loves listening to audiobooks, walking, puzzles and board games. When traveling, she likes visiting historical sites and learning more about history.
