Hello! I have been assisting and leading in Montessori since 2001.  I hold Montessori certificates in Early Childhood, Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary.  I've opened and run Classrooms in Colorado, Illinois and California.I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.A in English Literature and a minor in art.  I grew up mostly in northern Illinois surrounded by the beautiful midwest, an amazing East Indian community near the spectacular city of Chicago.

I believe that children are absolutely brilliant.  I am privileged to be able to work in this field and be a part of fostering an environment of thought, curiosity, independence, creativity and community.   I love bringing my eastern perspective into the classroom as well as an awareness of this world as a shared and diverse space.  Fort Collins Montessori School is a welcoming and ethical space that is a joy to be a part of.

I love to hike, spend time with friends, bike the awesome Loveland and Fort Collins trails, cook and garden.  I adore my little dog Simone and my cat Amara.  I will be adopting a puppy.  I enjoy trying new things and meeting new friends.
