Eryka attends The Montessori Institute in Denver, where she is working to earn her AMI 6-12 diploma. Previously, Eryka earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Colorado State University and then worked as a graphic designer in Fort Collins. Later Eryka moved to Albuquerque and earned a master’s degree in elementary education and a K-8 teaching certificate from The University of New Mexico. She taught for eight years before moving to Syracuse, New York, with family. In 2022, she earned a Ph.D. in teaching and curriculum from Syracuse University.

Eryka enjoys gardening, making art, sewing, and wilderness adventures.
