EMMA HEADLEY

Emma Headley

Interventionist

Emma Headley is originally from Minnesota but left for the warmth of New Mexico before finding her home in Colorado. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Special Education at the University of Colorado Denver along with elementary and special education teaching credentials.  She previously worked in the Denver area as a special education teacher for children and teens who have significant emotional/behavioral disabilities.

Emma moved to Fort Collins where she discovered the beauty in Montessori education when she enrolled her daughters in a local Montessori and then at Fort Collins Montessori School.  She’s passionate about working within the Montessori community to provide academic and social-emotional interventions to children who may need a little extra support during their educational journey as everyone will need a little extra support during the lifespan.

During Emma’s free time, she enjoys spending time in the forest with her spouse, their two school-age daughters, and dog. She also enjoys theater, mixed media arts, and cooking.
