Tanner graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Art Education. He possesses extensive knowledge in many mediums, but most importantly he has the patience to allow students to make discoveries for themselves. In the summers Tanner volunteers as a camp counselor. He constantly seeks out and thrives in environments that promote community and collaboration as cornerstones for growth.
Tanner’s passion is simple, to be a positive influence to as many people as possible. Tanner previously enjoyed the process and creative problem solving involved with creating custom picture frames. He recently was compelled to move from framing to pursue work with more opportunity for community service. He is thrilled to be a part of the Fort Collins Montessori School because it offers the ideal environment to make a positive impact in the community.
In his free time Tanner loves to ride his bike and find new paths with his little dog. He can usually be found by the Poudre river reading a book, writing postcards or playing harmonica.
