Nancy Tellez taught secondary Language Arts in PSD for 31 years beginning in 1972 at Blevins Junior High School and then at Preston Junior High School, and served as Language Arts Department Head in both schools. She was a member of the Poudre School District Board of Education from 2005-2015, serving terms as Board Member, Vice President, and President. Nancy has also served as a member of the Homelessness Prevention Initiative Board from 2009 – present.
BS, Human Development, University of Kansas; M.Ed., Montessori Integrative Learning, Endicott College
Lorie has been a Montessori educator and advocate in schools in KS, OR, CA, and CO since 1976. Lorie’s Montessori certification was with the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), Portland, OR. She is currently an instructor and Practicum Coordinator for the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies, as well as serving on the MECR Board. She also helped develop, administer, and teach at a Montessori P/K school in Fort Collins.
BBA in Sports, Sponsorships, and Sales
Robyn graduated from Baylor University in 2006 with a BBA in Sports, Sponsorships, and Sales. She spent time working with The Marketing Arm in Dallas, TX and the Chicago Bulls in Chicago, IL. She moved with her family to Fort Collins in 2010 to help launch Antioch Community Church. She currently serves on that church staff and is a stay at home mom to her 4 children. Her two oldest are current FCMS students. Robyn brings an expertise in sales, marketing, and fundraising to the FCMS board.

Dan first gained exposure to the benefits of a Montessori program at Julia Brown Montessori in Columbia, MD as a student in their primary classroom. These experiences helped guide his education, first from the University of Virginia, where he graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering and then at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where he received his MBA in 2006. Dan has over ten years’ experience at consulting and private equity, where he helped organizations with strategy and performance improvement. He moved with his family to Fort Collins in 2012 to lead strategy and acquisitions at Hach, a leader in water quality analysis. His 3 children are all current FCMS students.
