Parent Education and Open House
November 17, Monday, from 4:00 to 6:00

(Parent Education and Open House 4:00-5:00 and 5:00-6:00 is for adults only; we can provide childcare for enrolled families only)

On November 17, Monday, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. our Open House will begin with an overview of the Montessori Mathematics curriculum for children ages 3 to 12 years of age. Materials will be placed in one Primary and one Elementary classroom, and teachers will be teaching these materials to adults in sequence. We ask that you participate by actually using the Montessori materials in sequence if possible, and not just watching others work. Your greatest appreciation for your child’s learning will come from the use of the Montessori material.

Our first session will begin at 4:00 and run until 5:00, and our second session will begin at 5:00 and run until 6:00. We will close promptly at 6:00, although we know you will want to stay longer and learn more, because it is the dinner hour.

On December 8, Monday, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. our Parent Education and Open House will begin with an overview of the Montessori Writing and Reading curriculum for children ages 3 to 12 years of age. We will follow the same schedule and procedures outlined for our November 17th meeting, noted above.
